Alappuzha: The Kerala government again failed to distribute the commission of ration dealers on time. The commission for the month of November has been shelved and was not distributed even after mid-December.

Nearly Rs 30 crore will have to be dispensed for November. Though the Food and Supplies Department handed over the file to the Department of Finance, the latter did not allocate the funds.

The commission for October was halved during the last month in view of financial distress. However, the government revoked this decision due to strong protests raised by the ration dealers.
