Govt issues order suspending M Sivasankar
Thiruvananthapuram: The government has issued the order suspending Chief Minister’s former Principal Secretary M Sivasankar pending investigation.
The committee headed by Chief Secretary had filed the report against M Sivasankar. The report includes the findings of the committee. The order also mentions the Chief Minister’s announcement that a department-level investigation will be carried out.
The committee consisting of Chief Secretary Vishwas Mehta and Finance Department Additional Principal Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh filed the report against M Sivasankar. The report mentions that Sivasankar recommended for appointing Swapna Suresh and that he violated All India Services (Conduct) Rules, 1968.
Sivasankar befriended the officers working in the Consulate and established private relationships with officers are some of the findings of the report filed by the committee.
