Governor hits out at protests against CAA yet again
Kochi: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan once again hit out against the resolution passed by the Kerala Assembly against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
The Governor said he stands for the law and the constitution and as the representative of the President, he has is responsible for protecting the constitution from attacks.
The Governor also said that he is not afraid of protests and that he has been continuously travelling ever since threats were issued against him. Arif Mohammad Khan added that he will not retreat from his responsibilities irrespective of the protests he will have to face.
“The government is led by people like Irfan Habib. They are misleading the government on the issue. When the Assembly was called for passing the resolution on CAA, the money of the people was used,” Arif Mohammad Khan said.
The Governor also said that though he has a different opinion on regarding CAA, he does not have any issue with the state government.
