Governor being subjected to political vendetta of CPM: MT Ramesh
Kozhikode: BJP state general secretary M T Ramesh told the media here on Saturday that Kerala governor Arif Mohammed Khan is being subjected to the political vendetta of the CPM. He added that this attempt is condemnable and cannot be entertained anymore. He further alleged that the state government does not provide proper security to the governor.
The governor being subjected to political vendetta is a serious issue. The chief minister should respond on this. As there were security lapses, action should be taken against the concerned officials and those who led the attack, Ramesh said.
It is the Speaker and the minister who make statements that do not suit their position. A Governor should not oppose a law passed by the Parliament and signed by the President. He is supposed to support the law of the country, Ramesh added.
He further said that a letter has been received notifying about the meeting convened by the chief minister and the party leadership will take a decision whether they should participate in it.
