NIA has raised serious allegations against the accused in the court. NIA informed that they have to examine whether the accused, including Ramees and Sharafuddin, have any connection with Dwaood Ibrahim’s gang.
NIA informed that they have been able to collect over 90 digital evidence. The documents from only 22 digital equipment were collected so far. NIA also informed the court that it was difficult for them to retrieve some of the evidence as some of the accused destroyed it when the case was registered.
The accused have visited foreign countries including Tanzania. NIA pointed out in the court that a man called Firos, who belongs to Dawood’s gang, is based in Tanzania. Hence, there should be more investigation into the Tanzania visit of the accused, NIA stated.

However, the court remarked that it was considering more evidence in connection with UAPA charges against the accused.
