Thiruvananthapuram: LDF convener EP Jayarajan on Tuesday said that girls are dressing up in shirts and pants, trying to pretend like boys and are going for strikes.
“Girls should not shorten their hair, wear shirts and pants and act like boys; thereby distorting the atmosphere of the state,” he said.
“If the black flag protests against the chief minister go on, then the situation will worsen and the opposition leader will not be able to come out in the open,” warned the leader.
“Why are they walking around with black flags? What is the need for such protests? Did they protest against the LPG price hike?,” he asked.
Further, Jayarajan added, “Rs 2 cess collected by the Kerala government is being distributed to 62 lakh people. It is an approach aimed at strengthening Kerala’s commercial and manufacturing sectors. Congress should study about it first.”
