Kothamangalam/Thalassery: After the Kothamangalam incident, the bodies of Manasa and Rakhil were taken to their hometown in Kannur after post-mortem. Manasa's body was brought home on Sunday. The burial will take place at Payyambalam at 10 am.
Rakhil's body was brought to Thalassery on Saturday and is kept at the co-operative hospital mortuary. His body will be cremated at Pinarayi Panthakkappara crematorium at 10 am.
The post-mortem was conducted after inquest at the Mar Baselios Hospital in Kothamangalam. The report will be handed over to the Kothamangalam police in the coming days.
Hundreds of people, including relatives, friends and classmates arrived to pay homage to Manasa. Relatives of the two had reached the spot. Rakhil's brother and a friend testified to police.
