G Sukumaran Nair, Shashi Tharoor

Perunna: Nair Service Society (NSS) General Secretary slammed the Congress leadership in Kerala while praising Shashi Tharoor MP. The lack of better leadership in Congress is the inefficiency of the party, he said.

“Shashi Tharoor was invited for Mannam Jayanti celebrations of NSS to rectify the mistake committed by mocking him as ‘Delhi Nair’ earlier,” revealed Sukumaran Nair. He questioned who else possesses wisdom as Shashi Tharoor. “Shashi Tharoor has the potential to even become the Prime Minister of India. However, the other Congress leaders will not allow this to happen,” said Sukumaran Nair. He had earlier expressed the same in an interview to The New Indian Express daily.

G Sukumaran Nair opined that the UDF’s failure in the previous election happened when the Congress party upheld Ramesh Chenithala as its chief ministerial candidate. The party could have avoided this by foregrounding Oommen Chandy, he added. Sukumaran Nair opined that the minorities, who always supported the Congress, voted for the LDF this time to defend the growth of BJP. The public lost its trust in Congress, he said.
