Fund raising for women wall: Minister suspects conspiracy
Thiruvananthapuram: The collection of fund from the social welfare pension to organise the women wall has led to a controversy. Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran said he suspects a conspiracy behind the fund collection from social welfare pension in some districts including Palakkad.
The Palakkad district leadership of CPM had released through their Facebook page a video in which the elderly persons were seen clarifying that they have no complaint over cutting the fund from their pension. Kadakampally Surendran added while speaking in Kannur that the stand taken by the party district leadership was right.
There were allegations that the fund for women wall was deducted from the social welfare pension in Palakkad and some other districts. The fund was collected after distributing receipts. A video in this regard was disclosed by Mathrubhumi News.
The party released the response video of the elderly after this news was published. Meanwhile, it has been alleged that there are attempts to sabotage the investigation into the fund collection controversy.
