Fruit vendor arrested for flashing woman pedestrian in Kasaragod

Kasaragod: A fruit vendor and native of Kanhangad here has been arrested for allegedly flashing a woman pedestrian. The person arrested is Arshad.

The move comes after the woman filed a police complaint over the alleged incident. According to the complaint, the person flashed her while she was going through the road.

The police are probing the matter in detail.

The accused had been involved in goods auto-based fruit sales in Kanhangad.

The arrest also comes at a time when the alleged flashing episode that happened in the KSRTC bus is on the limelight.

Police on the other day had arrested Kozhikode native Savad Sha for allegedly exposing himself to a young woman on a KSRTC bus. The incident took place at Angamaly on Wednesday morning on a bus from Thrissur to Kochi. Savad allegedly masturbated in front of the woman. He tried to run away when she objected but was later caught by bus employees.
