Kozhikode: The working hours of beverages corporation (BEVCO) outlets in the state has been reworked under the current circumstances. From now on, the sales of liquor will only be from 10 am till 5 pm.
All the bars across the state have been shut down. There will also be strict restrictions at the beverages outlets.
Excise Minister T. P. Ramakrishnan informed that the decision to open liquor counters at bars will be taken in a couple of days time. The minister conveyed this after a meeting with the beverages department MD.
The minister said that starting parcel service in bars across the state is under consideration.
