The bride and the groom pose with their friends who came from Delhi to attend the wedding
Kochi: Yogesh Sharma and his friends’ intent were simple when they travelled to Kochi on their bikes from Delhi. They wanted to attend the wedding of their friends Rahul and Suchitra. The arrival of their friends from Delhi proved to be a surprise for the bride and the groom as well.
The wedding happened on Thursday in Ernakulam. Rahul is son of Thrissur native Radhakrishnan and Sheela. Whereas, Suchitra is the daughter of Sunil Menon and Sandhya. They are settled in Mumbai.
The idea was pitched forward by Rahul’s friend and Delhi native Yogesh Sharma, who wanted to surprise Rahul on his wedding day. His idea was backed by friends Raghavendra, Ashmith, Vipin, Lalith and Arpith. They started their journey on December 21 from the National capital and it took 10 days to reach Kochi.
Yogesh says that the idea was to attend their friend’s wedding and also to tour the country. From Gurgaon, they travelled through Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Pune, Goa and Mangaluru to reach Kochi. They travelled in daytime after staying in different hostels at night.
They even visited Wayanad before reaching Kochi for the wedding on Thursday.
Suchitra says it was a big surprise that they travelled all the way from Delhi to attend the wedding. She also feels that it was the biggest gift that the couple got for their wedding.
