Kochi: Police have started interrogating more people in connection with the accident which claimed the lives of three including former Miss Kerala and first-runner up. Six people who attended the party held at No: 18 hotel in Fort Kochi on October 31 are being questioned at Palarivattom police station.

Police collected details of the six from the hotel register. Following this, they were summoned to the police station.

The investigation team aims to gather details like incidents that took place during the party and confirm whether the models fell into an argument with others during the party. The people who attended the party were summoned for interrogation after the police confirmed that the CCTV visuals were destroyed. The probe team hopes they will be able to solve the mystery behind the car accident following the interrogation.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that some people attended the party without recording their details on the register at the hotel. Police are also investigating this.

Audi car driver seeks anticipatory bail

Amidst this, Saiju Thankachan who drove the Audi car that reportedly chased the car of the models has approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail.

In his statement to police, Saiju revealed that he wanted to warn them as Ansi and her friends were drunk and overspeeding. In the anticipatory bail plea too, Saiju reiterated this argument.
