Thiruvananthapuram: Former Miss Kerala Ansi Kabeer’s mother Raseena (48) fainted and was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition upon hearing the news of her daughter’s demise. She was admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Ansi’s father Kabeer is staying abroad.

Ansi and her mother used to live in Ansi Cottage at Attingal in Alamcode. Ansi’s relatives have set off to Kochi for her post-mortem procedures. Ansi Kabeer is the only child of Raseena-Kabeer couple.

Ansi Kabeer (25) and Anjana Shajan (26), Miss Kerala 2019 first runner-up, were killed in a road accident at Vyttila around midnight on Monday.

The accident happened when the car in which Ansi and Anjana were travelling hit a bike and lost control, killing them. Both of them died on the spot.

There were four passengers in the car. Two other car passengers were also injured.
