Irattayar (Idukki): With the high-voltage election campaign on in Kerala, parties are trying everything in their kitty to ensure no votes go to the opponent party. Stooping to a new low, former Idukki MP Joyce George made derogatory comments on Wayanad MP and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
At an election campaign of Minister MM Mani, LDF candidate in Udumbanchola, on Monday, George said that women should be fearful and careful of Rahul Gandhi. “Rahul will visit only women’s colleges. He will teach girls to flex their muscles,” George said adding the Congress leader is an unmarried troublemaker.
Meanwhile, Idukki MP Dean Kuriakose reacted to Mathrubhumi News saying that George might have responded after he misunderstood the question was about his own character.
George has now proven his vulgar character. What is his eligibility to criticise Rahul Gandhi? MM Mani had made such degrading remarks earlier. George is now trying to appease Mani following his steps, Kuriakose said, adding a complaint will be filed with Election Commission.
