Kottayam: Former empanelled employee of KSRTC reportedly suicided at his residence in Brahmamangalam here on Monday. The deceased has been identified as MK Shibu, a former conductor at the KSRTC depot in Pala.
He was found dead at his house on Monday morning. KSRTC union representatives and relatives stated that Shibu was facing mental distress after losing his job in December 2020.
It is alleged that this might have led to his suicide. Thalayolaparambu police arrived at the scene and shifted the body to Kottayam Medical College.
