Flight row: Police got clues to link Congress leaders to the attack, says Kerala CM in assembly

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan revealed in the Kerala Assembly that police have clues of the involvement of Congress leaders in the attack against him inside a flight.

"The police have found the involvement of some political party leaders in conspiring the attack. The first and third accused in the case, Farseen Majeed and Sunit Narayanan, are both members of the Youth Congress Mattanur unit. Naveen Kumar, second accused, is the Kannur District Secretary, and the fourth accused, KS Sabarinath, is the vice president of Youth Congress," he said.

The reply came in a query raised by MLA VK Prasanth questioning whether anyone had told CM that K Sudhakaran conspired to murder EP Jayarajan in the flight row. "Sudhakaran's former driver and Congress leader Prashanth Babu revealed that it was Sudhkaran who was behind it," Kerala CM added.

Meanwhile, Opposition leader VD Satheesan dismissed the questions of the ruling front regarding the conspiracy and claimed LDF MLAs can't raise such queries since it is against the speaker's ruling.
