Koodaranji (Kozhikode): A teenager has been reported missing in a flash flood near Punnakkal Urumi power house. The teen has been identified as Anees Rahman (17) a native of Poolapoyil in Mukkam.
The incident took place around 3 pm. Three persons including Anees Rahman went to bathe near the powerhouse. At that time, flash floods occurred and all three got trapped in strong currents. The other two managed to reach safety and alerted the neighbours.
On information, the Mukkam police reached the spot and are searching for the missing teenager.
