Mattannoor: The first aircraft for hajj pilgrimage from Kannur hajj camp will fly at 1.45 am on June 4. According to the currently available schedule, this flight will be the first to operate hajj service from Kerala.

The hajj camp at Kannur International Airport will be conducted at the cargo camp.

A total of 13 flight services are scheduled for hajj pilgrimage from Kannur airport this year. 145 passengers will travel by each aircraft. Over 2000 passengers will commence their hajj journey from Kannur till June 22.

The haj committee convened meetings with the sub committees formed for the hajj camp and evaluated the arrangements. KK Shailaja MLA will inaugurate the hajj camp’s organising committee office at 10 am on Sunday.
