Malappuram: A massive fire reported at a commercial building in Manjeri on Thursday noon. A rexine shop and a mattress factory were destroyed by a fire that spread rapidly.
The accident happened when the employees had left for lunch. Hence there were no casualties.
Fireforce units from Manjeri and Thiruvali rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.
The fire, reportedly started from the rexine shop, has caused loss of lakhs of rupees.
