Fire at Bata store in Karamana
Thiruvananthapuram: A fire accident occurred at the Bata store here on Wednesday. Fire force reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
Fire occurred at the third floor of the building which is the warehouse. The reason for the fire is yet to be known.
The incident occurred at 8.45 am. Immediately locals informed the fire force. Units from Chenkalchoola and Chakka arrived at the spot and brought the fire under control within half-an-hour.
As per initial reports no one was injured. However, footwear stored in the godown were destroyed.
