Fire and safety personnel rescue buffalo from 30 ft deep well in Kollam

Kollam: Fire and safety officials in Kadakkal rescued a buffalo that accidentally fell into a 30 ft deep well on Wednesday.

It was around 5 PM that Chithara native Shilaja’s buffalo fell into the well. The well apparently had been in an abandoned state and was filled with water and garbage.

The air circulation was poor in the well and the officials had to use oxygen cylinder.

The buffalo weighing 250kg was taken out around 11 PM.

The representatives from panchayat and locals aided the officials in the rescue operation.
