Federal Bank ‘Speak for India’ debate competition begins for college students from Jan 9

Kozhikode: Federal Bank and Mathrubhumi will join hands together to organise the seventh edition of India’s biggest debate competition ‘Federal Bank Speak for India Kerala Edition’ from January 9, 2023.

‘Speak for India’ provides a platform for college students to raise their opinions in the relevant contemporary topics. The programme has been scheduled as a Corporate Social Responsibility project of the Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation.

The competition will take place in five levels and Rs 2.5 lakh will be awarded to the winners along with other gifts. The second prize winner will get a cash award of Rs 1.5 lakh. All participants selected for the finals will receive a cash prize of Rs 35,000.

The topic for the first level of the debate competition will be regarding the curfew time in college hostels. The students can prefer to talk in support or against the topic.
