Thrissur: In a tragic incident, a father died after jumping into a well along with his two kids on Thursday morning. The incident took place at Kaipamangalam in Thrissur.
The deceased has been identified as Shihab (35), a native of Moonupeedika Beach Road. Reportedly, he had jumped into the well situated in front of his house along with his kids aged 2 and 4 years.
Shihab’s wife was asleep at the time of the incident. The family members and neighbours came to know about the tragedy after hearing the cries of the children.
Soon after, three of them were pulled out from the well and rushed to a hospital. But, Shihab could not be saved. The children are currently undergoing treatment and are stable.
Shihab, who owns a tile shop in the area, had a huge financial burden in connection with his business.
