Thodupuzha: A farmer was killed in a wild elephant attack in Idukki’s Thodupuzha on Monday. The victim has been identified as Samuel, a native of Thalakulam.

Samuel was attacked by the elephant while working on his cardamom plantation in Santhanpara.

A team of police officers and panchayat authorities are on their way to the spot to bring back the body.

According to natives, wild elephant menace is common in Santhanpara and adjoining areas.
