Facebook page flooded with complaints; Amit Shah seeks report
New Delhi: BJP leader Amit Shah has sought a report on the problems in Kerala BJP after his Facebook page was flooded with complaints by Malayali party members. A report has been sort from Kerala in charge Muralidhar Rao. It is also known that national leadership might intervene in issues of Kerala BJP.
Party members raised the issue in the wake of a split formed in Kerala BJP in connection with the selection of state president. It is reported that Amit Shah has asked for the translation of the comments posted in Malayalam.
The whole issue started when V Muraleedaran publically stated his stand on Dileep’s reinstatement to AMMA. Following this, the other faction took up the issue of BJP activist Lasitha Palakkal. Muraleedaran commenting on the AMMA issue instead of responding to the Lashitha Palakkal issue irked the party members.
Popular TV anchor Sabhu had allegedly made inappropriate comments against Lasitha Palakkal on Facebook.
Party workers took to Amit Shah’s Facebook page and posted complaints in English and Malayalam. They also commented against each other over the issue. More than hundreds of comments have been posted on the page.
With the appointment of Kummanam Rajasekharan as Mizoram Governor, the state president's post is remaining vacant. The dissatisfaction over indecision in this regard was also seen in these comments.
Shah has sought a detailed report on Kerala from Rao. He is set to arrive in Kerala in July for beginning the Lok Sabha election activities. The report is to submitted before his visit.
