Thrissur: Police siezed explosive material from a house at Anthikkad here on Thursday.
As many as 2100 detonators, 656 gelatin sticks, around 75 kg ammonium nitrate and 20 kg of gunpowder were seized from the residence of Puthoookaran Vinu. Police have arrested him.
In his statement, Vinu has told police that he is a professional well digger and stored the materials for this purpose.
