New Delhi: Following his entry into UDF, the Nationalist Congress Party has officially expelled Mani C. Kappan from the party.
In a press conference, NCP secretary S. R. Kohli informed that Mani C. Kappan has been expelled from the party. The decision was taken after Kappan announced switching to UDF on his own. The NCP national leadership informed that Mani C. Kappan’s actions were against the organization.
After the LDF denied Pala seat, Kappan had brought himself closer to UDF. The following day, Kappan attended the ‘Aishwarya Kerala Yatra’ led by Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala.
