Thiruvananthapuram: Mathrubhumi Geowide India exit polls has predicted that the United Democratic Front (UDF) will win in Manjeswaram, Ernakulam and Konni constituencies in Kerala while the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will win in Aroor and Vattiyoorkavu.
Manjeswaram
In Manjeswaram, UDF candidate M. C. Kamarudheen will claim 40 percent votes and secure victory. BJP candidate Ravisha Tantri Kuntar will secure 37 percent of the votes polled while LDF candidate Shankar Ray will secure only 21 percent votes.Aroor
In Aroor, LDF candidate Manu C Pulikkal will secure victory claiming 44 percent of the votes. UDF candidate Shanimol Usman will be a close second with 43 percent votes. NDA candidate Prakash Babu will secure only 11 percent of the votes.Ernakulam
In Ernakulam, UDF candidate T. J. Vinod will win by securing 44 percent votes. LDF candidate Manu Roy will secure 39 percent votes while NDA candidate C. G. Rajagopal will secure 15 percent votes.Konni
UDF will retain the constituency with its candidate P. Mohanraj securing 41 percent votes. LDF candidate K. U. Janeesh Kumar will secure 39 percent votes while NDA candidate K. Surendran will secure 19 percent votes.Vattiyoorkavu
LDF candidate and mayor V. K. Prasanth will win by securing 41 percent votes. UDF candidate K Mohankumar will secure 37 percent votes. NDA will drop to the third spot with its candidate S. Suresh securing 20 percent votes.
