Kozhikode: Farook excise team here arrested a youth for allegedly possessing drugs worth Rs 20 lakh. The accused is identified as Roshan, a native of Thamarassery. It is reported that he brought the drugs for sale at the Valentine's Day parties.

Excise seized 13.103 mg MDMA and 25 LSD stamps from him.

Roshan is also booked in the case over the attack of Rotweiller dogs on a housewife in Thamarassery.

The accused told the police that the drugs were brought from Bengaluru for sale in Thamarassery, Kundamangalam, Farook and Ramanattukara areas.

Assistant Excise Inspector TK Nishilkumar, Preventive Officers T Govindan and VB Abdul Jabbar and civil excise officers N Sreesanth, N Sujith and T Rajul were in the excise team.
