Excise seizes diary from drug peddlers containing names of 250 students

Thrissur: In a shocking revelation, excise officials, who nabbed two for possessing MDMA from Kaipamangalam, found a diary containing details of their customers, including 250 students. The 52-page book, seized from the accused, included details of all customers buying drugs from them. The list has regular customers and girls.

The book also mentioned names of youngsters aged between 17-25 who bought drugs. Of this, excise found details of 50 people who purchased drugs daily. Meanwhile, there are also details of others who owed Rs 3000 to Rs 10,000 to the drug peddlers.

The money is transferred via online payment portals or money transfers. Meanwhile, the excise officials have started to contact the parents of those school and college students named in the book.
