Musaddiq driving ambulance wearing wedding attire
Mattannur (Kannur): An ambulance driver left the wedding venue wearing the groom’s attire in order to rush a patient to the hospital. Musaddiq, an ambulance driver and volunteer of Kotheri Shihab Thangal Relief Cell, became a model for all by helping a patient even on his wedding day.
Musaddiq had reached the bride’s house at Aralam on the wedding day when the relief cell workers contacted him to take a patient to the hospital immediately. As they came to know that it was Musaddiq’s wedding, they told him they would try to find out another ambulance. However, the groom and friends left to Kotheri.
Musaddiq could not even change his wedding attire, but he took the elderly patients in the ambulance and rushed to Elayavoor CH centre. The volunteers at Elayavoor CH centre have taken up the responsibility of the elderly people who were living alone. CH centre representatives, doctors and other staff appreciated Musaddiq for prioritising charity work even on wedding day.
