Kannur: “We are open to any kind of probe,” said P Mukundan--the chairperson of Anthoor municipality, which landed in a controversy over the LDF convenor EP Jayarajan’s alleged connection with Vaidekam resort under its jurisdiction.
According to Mukundan, the municipality has not violated any norms for giving approval to the resort.
“The nod was given only after the submission of all necessary documents. Permission was given as per the official procedures. This was a transparent affair,” he said during an exclusive interview with Mathrubhumi News.
He pointed out that the municipality has nothing to worry about the issue and welcomed a probe into the allegations against the municipality.
