Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state committee member P Jayarajan has accused that party’s central committee member and LDF convener EP Jayarajan illegally acquired property. P Jayarajan made the allegation at the state committee meeting held on Wednesday and Thursday. The allegation is over ownership of an Ayurvedic resort in Kannur. P Jayarajan demanded action against EP Jayarajan.
P Jayarajan accused EP of illegally acquiring property and building a huge resort and Ayurvedic establishment in Kannur. P Jayarajan also alleged that when he made the accusation earlier, some changes were made in the company, including in the director board.
The CPM leader alleged that EP Jayarajan’s wife PK Indiara and his son are on the director board. Property worth Rs 30 crore was acquired to build the resort and Ayurvedic village, he claimed.
EP Jayarajan was absent at the meeting, which was attended by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and state secretary MV Govindan. The party state secretary asked P Jayarajan to file a written complaint if he was firm on the allegation.
An Ayurvedic resort named Vaidekam is run at Vellikkeel in Kannur under the company Kerala Ayurvedic and Care Private Ltd. The project was designed as an Ayurvedic village. Earlier too, allegations had cropped up regarding the construction of the resort as it is situated on a hill.
