Kannur: EP Jayarajan has landed in more trouble as a former party member came up with more revelations justifying the CPM state committee member P Jayarajan's allegations against him. During the party meeting, P Jayarajan reportedly raised allegations of amassment of disproportionate wealth against EP Jayarajan by citing a resort owned by him.

Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad Bakkalam unit secretary Sajin accused EP Jayarajan of starting the construction of the resort without obtaining the government's approval. He noted that many of the documents were secured only after finishing the building works.

It is learnt that CPM allegedly dismissed Sajin from the branch committee for proceeding with the complaint.

As per the details fetched under the Right to Information Act, approval from Pollution Control Board and Mining and Geology department or permission to dig the borewell were not obtained before the construction works, said Sajin.

Sajin alleged that the party refrained from informing him about the meetings after he raised a complaint against EP Jayarajan. Soon, the party expelled him citing his recurring absence in the meetings, he said.
