Reyes Dilshad with his book
Tirur: An English science-fiction novel written by Reyes Dilshad, a 10-year-old boy from Tirur, is catching the attention of readers.
Reyes started writing the novel during the Covid-19 lockdown period. He was eight then. After a successful search for an imprint, the book was published recently. This is the first book in the series.
The story narrates the adventures of Stugart Johnson who stole a time travel watch. Eleven-year-old Adidev, who is a friend of Reyes, did the illustrations for the book.
Reyes, a class five student at My School, Tirur, is the son of IT workers Lovedale Dilshad and Sajisha. The book was handed over to sports minister V Abdurahiman.
