Alappuzha: A fire was detected at the Federal Bank branch situated near the Kannan Varkey bridge on Saturday morning. Local people noticed the fire in the morning at about 8.30 am and immediately alerted the police.
The reason for the fire is not known. Police and firforce personnel are in the spot to put out the fire.
