Pathanamthitta: An auto driver from Elanthoor reveals that he managed to save a woman from the house where double murder took place. The auto driver reached the residence of Bhagval Singh and Laila in Pathanamthitta after receiving a distress call from the woman.

Auto driver Hashim told Mathrubhumi News that he received a call from a woman named Omana a year ago. "The woman was frightened and requested me to save her. She also helped me in locating the house. She boarded the auto rickshaw as soon as I reached the premises of the house. I didn't find any bruise marks or injuries on her body," Hashim said.

Omana told him that her hands were tied and her mouth plastered. Omana also refused to walk out of the house out of fear that she would be run over by a "Scorpio" car. He stated that Omana refused to file a complaint claiming that she would lose her "respect." Later, he drove Omana to her house.
