Babu, fire force trying to get him down from the tree
Ernakulam: A man died after collapsing due to chest pain while climbing a mango tree. Arookutti native Babu (66) fell from the tree and stood hanging from a rope tied around his waist for protection. He was unconscious.
Those who were around at the time informed the fire force and police. Babu had died by the time the fire force brought him down. Police were also present at the spot.
According to Babu’s relatives, he was undergoing treatment for heart disease. He is survived by his wife Rasiya, son Rimshad and daughter Rasna.
