Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Minister Thomas Isaac raised a sharp criticism against CAG report after the Enforcement Directorate initiated a probe into the KIIFB masala bond. Addressing the media here on Sunday, the finance minister alleged that CAG report is not a honest one.
“How did ED obtain CAG report?” asked the minister.
He alleged that the ED probe into the KIIFB masala bond is part of the conspiracy to topple the government.
“The draft report of CAG mentioned about KIIFB in two paragraphs. But the final report carried assumptions on government organisations which did not mention on the draft. Four pages explained this matter. CAG has moved to topple a state government and leaked the news to meet their purpose. They are creating baseless controversies,” condemned Thomas Isaac.
