Kozhikode: In connection with the Plus Two bribery case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials have been quizzing IUML leader and former MLA KM Shaji. This is the second time that ED is questioning Shaji over the case on the allegation that he has taken Rs 25 lakh as a bribe from an aided school management for allocating Plus Two courses to a school in Azhikode in 2014, during the tenure of UDF government. He was the Azhikode MLA when this allegedly happened.

According to the officials, Shaji was summoned for collecting more details as a part of the probe. Notably, Shaji earlier was quizzed by the Vigilance officials too, in connection with a case about possession of unaccountable wealth.
