Thiruvananthapuram: The Election Commission has published the symbols for independent candidates who will be contesting in the Local Self Government polls.
75 symbols have been published. The candidates can select their symbols from this list.
Farmer harvesting crops, plough, handcart, auto rickshaw, mobile phone, laptop and helmet are the symbols that have been released by the Election Commission.
Tools such as brush, scissors, tailoring machine and sports items such as cricket bat, hockey stick and ball, football, tennis racket and carrom board are also part of the list of symbols along with musical instruments such as ‘Chenda’.
