The Election Commission has allowed ‘chenda’ symbol to Joseph faction and table fan symbol for Jose K Mani faction.

Thiruvananthapuram: The state election commission has frozen the two-leaves symbol of Kerala Congress (M). The order regarding this was issued by state election commissioner V Bhaskaran.

The symbol was frozen after both the PJ Joseph faction and Jose K Mani faction of Kerala Congress (M) laid claim to it.

The election commission has granted ‘chenda’ symbol to Joseph faction and table fan symbol to Jose K Mani faction.

These symbols were allowed on the basis of requests from the parties concerned.
