Thiruvananthapuram: Industries Minister E P Jayarajan on Thursday said he saw “nothing wrong” in senior CPM leader V S Achuthanandan handing over a ‘note’ to CPM General-Secretary Sitaram Yechury.
“What is wrong in VS passing a note to Yechury,” he asked reporters. “It does not matter whether he has handed it over or not. If the government gives a post to VS, it will be communicated to you,” he said.
Endorsing the Chief Minister’s stand on the Mullaperiyar issue, Jayarajan batted for effective measures to avoid a confrontation between the two states in the issue.
He said the industrial sector in the state is facing acute crisis and it should carry out timely changes. The public sector companies will be run professionally, he added.
Jayarajan assured industries that electricity will no more be a problem for the sector, adding that the state will devise plans to attract more investment from the NRI.
Black sand mining will be implemented in public sector, Jayarajan said and added that the government will form a new sports policy.
