Kannur: CPM leader E. P. Jayarajan on Tuesday ridiculed the allegations raised by Congress leader K. Sudhakaran against CPM in connection with the murder of Youth Congress worker Shuhaib.
Jayarajan said that 48-hour hunger strike is not sufficient for Sudhakaran, who had 'tried to kill him' in the past. Sudhakaran has been staging a hunger strike for the past two days, demanding the arrest of the culprits in Shuhaib murder.
Jayarajan accused that Sudhakaran is trying to save somebody by alleging that the police arrested dummy culprits. He also said that the party will take action against the culprits.
“The police investigated and caught two culprits, then comes the comment that those were dummies. For whom they are making such comments. The police conducted such a factual investigation into the case, without compromising on any details. And these people spread rumour that they are dummies. It is a trick to save the criminals,” Jayarajan added.
