Vythiri: An inebriated man allegedly created ruckus after barging into the outpatient clinic at Vythiri Taluk hospital on Tuesday (May 16) afternoon. Police have registered a case against the person who was seen shouting and using foul language inside the hospital building.

As per the hospital officials, Velayudhan, a resident of Lakkidi in Wayanad, entered the hospital in an inebriated condition and started shouting and hurling abuses at people around him.

The man who did not have an ‘OP chit’ with him was desperately seeking medical attention from a female doctor. As tension escalated, the lady doctor who was on duty at the outpatient clinic of the hospital, was moved to a safer place.

After he was forced out of the OP clinic, he, who was accompanied by his wife, sought medical attention at the casualty of the very same hospital.

The Vythiri police registered a case against him as per the complaint filed by the hospital superintendent.
