Kozhikode: The authorities of Kozhikode Medical College have lodged a complaint with the police against alleged anti-social activities happening on the campus.

In the complaint, the medical college superintendent pointed out that social miscreants and drug sellers have been entering the campus. Some carry lethal weapons and pose threats. The issue is particularly concerning in 12 locations on the campus that are devoid of surveillance cameras.

The college authorities have also asked the police to strengthen night patrolling in the area. The security staff has been trying to control the unruly activities. However, the miscreants allegedly continue to gang up and attack the employees using iron rods and other weapons.

Furthermore, the security department had submitted a report to the college authorities stating that the assailants entered the campus for selling drugs. Their activities are causing difficulties for students, patients and bystanders, stated the complaint.
