Kalpetta: The police on Wednesday seized around 50 grams of MDMA from a vehicle near the RTO check post in Muthanga, Wayanad. Three youths have been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

The accused have been identified as Muhammad Midlaj, Jasim Ali and Aftash, natives of Kozhikode and Wayanad. The drugs were seized from a car amid a vehicle inspection carried out by the police.

The drugs were found hidden inside the dashboard of the car. According to the police, this is the biggest MDMA hunt in Kerala. The district police chief shall soon meet with the media to shed light on further details.
