Thrissur: The body of a three-year-old who went missing after falling into a water stream in Vellookkara in the Thrissur district has been recovered.
The deceased was identified as Arom Helen, son of Pattepadam native Bensil.
The accident happened at 11.30 am on Sunday. The boy fell into the stream nearby his house while running around when his mother took him out for bathing, it is learnt.
Although the mother jumped into the stream, she couldn’t save him. The fire force and diving experts rushed to the scene. The boy’s body was found by 6 in the evening.
