Kochi: Police booked 370 people in Kochi as part of Kerala Police’s special drive ‘Operation Combing’. The special drive was held on Saturday night and in the wee hours of Sunday.
Police nabbed 242 people for drunk driving and 26 others under the influence of drugs and other intoxicants. The drive was targeted at persons driving under the influence of drugs.
Last week, police also conducted a similar operation in the city and registered 310 cases for drunk driving. Police also nabbed those returning from a DJ party. Following this, the decision was taken to continue operation in the city on weekends.
